  Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Piripono are proud to host Te Ahurea Tino Rangatiratanga Kapa Haka Festival 2005. This year brings together some of the best kapa haka rōpu from Tamaki Makaurau.

Ko ngā heke kōwhaiwhai e toru, hei tohu te körero nei "Mai Tawhiti nui, Mai Tawhiti Roa, Mai Tawhiti Pamaomao".

Kei waengamui ko ngä ngaru ö Te Moananui-ā-kiwa ēngari ko te tino tohu, ko te anga pāua.

"He ataahua te pāua, he ataahua ano hoki tō tātou Ahurea".
